I wanted to mention (and I may have somewhere on here before), that before I level my sides now I have started to do an initial rout of the binding channels (not full depth) so that when I level the sides I don't have to contend with the end grain of the top and back. This is the first guitar I tried it on and I have to say this is the best my binding has ever come out for me (not that is was bad before). It is almost perfectly level and fit all the way around, very little leveling of the binding is going to be necessary at any point on the guitar. It is mostly scraping/sanding off the glue residue. I am very happy with this method and will continue to use it.

I got the FB inlay in and sealed the top before sanding/scraping the B/S.

Kevin, I thought the Redwood would be a good match with a 00 sized body to ad a little bass (we'll see). I pore filled yesterday.

The maple binding and the rosewood sure look good together.
