KMG 000 First Build

Post by John J » Tue Feb 24, 2015 12:36 pm

Hello all. John from St Paul Minnesota getting started on my first foray into what I hope is a new addiction. I finally got all my stuff and got moving. The fmold went together nicely. Got sides measured and cut (my first moment of nerves). Neck and tail block glued. Linings and reinforcements done. Next step is contouring back and top. Having a blast. Look forward to any and all comments/advice.

Contouring the top edge. Followed Ken's instructions and it came out very nice.

Contoured the top and back rim. Looks good I think. When I set the back on it there is the gap at the neck block area that I hope looks right. When I push down it fits tight all the way around.

Wasn't too sure about how to do the rosette. I think this will work.
