Radiused the bridge, routed out the saddle slot and did the final sanding on the bridge. Drilled the tuner holes and made the final neck set check. Will be gluing on the neck and bridge tomorrow and attaching the tuners. Friday I'll do the final setup and then it will be done.

So, I got the neck and bridge on and shape and fitted the nut (still have to cut slots), and I have the saddle fitted to the slot.

The guitar looks great and ready to string up. I use the same jig to route the slot in the bridge. I have been doing it on the guitar, but now I see that I can still place the bridge, measure the saddle location but then route the slot off the guitar.

Yeah, I like doing it off the guitar and keeping the equipment away from the top (makes me too nervous there). I have the work board elevated on two 2" high riser blocks in the corners and the jig held in place with the 2 cam clamps. I use double sided tape to hold the bridge in place (the bridge location is outlined on the work board so I get the location the same each time). My router is hooked up to a foot pedal. Then I have at it.johnparchem wrote:The guitar looks great and ready to string up. I use the same jig to route the slot in the bridge.
