Re: An HD-28 style for Tom T
So, customer wanted his initials on the back of the headstock and a custom headstock logo (West Virginia) which have been installed. I also got the frets in and will glue up the FB today.

I attached the FB to the neck and roughed out the bridge. I do the final thicknessing and sanding once the neck is attached to the body so I can get the neck angle precise.

Taped off the top for spraying and stained the neck. This is my first time staining a neck. It is wet in the pick and dries more evenly (this is the second coat.

Tim your guitar looks great. Love the herringbone on top. Do you have to prebend it before installing?

Yes. I can bent it but I now just get the stewmac pre-bent, it's worth it to me to save the time for the extra cost.Paul C wrote:Tim your guitar looks great. Love the herringbone on top. Do you have to prebend it before installing?
