Style 40 / 42 Pearl Rosette Scheme - ideas?

Trying to wrap my brain around how to build a similar rosette to the early 40 /42 style Martins




The outer and inner rings I can build with a pair of .040" BWB . This will give me a slightly thicker center black line.

The center ring around the pearl - thinking maybe a .047" BWBW with a .040" BW on either side of 1/8 or 3/32 Pau Abalone.

I'm specifically looking at the perfling available from Stew Mac.

Is there an easier way to achieve this? Am I missing an obvious alternate solution?

I cannot think of an easier way.
Just the pearl (or abalone laminate) and the purfing around it.
