Jewelers Ring clamp

Have been pretty sick lately so haven't been around on-line, but this little tip pushed me to post.
Went with the wife shopping...(She shopped while I sat on the benches)...I WAS next to a Jewelry store and was watching the Jeweler polishing a ring with some sort of clamping device.
Well nosey me...I couldn't resist asking him about it. I thought it was very cool. he said you could get then many places including E-Bay! and they were cheap!
I looked around a little and found a piece of costume Jewelry I thought the wife would like...while paying for it he walked over and said "Here, handing me a new clamp, I have a number of these laying around Merry Christmas!"
I thought that was pretty darn cool. I took it home and used it on a clock piece I've been wanting to round over for months but didn't want to use a file by hand...too much for me right now...not study enough....too small to use a sander with fingers....PERFECT!
I had a couple of inlays that were in need of touching up and again...PERFECT! I am sure you can find many uses for this clamp...and it's so simple...even to make if the first one were to break...yeah it's plastic but HEAVY...wedges tight and firm, doesn't slip with hard leather jaws...round nosed on one end and square on the other....
