John,
At a certain level of achievement, guitars sound "different from" each other, not necessarily "better than". Yours have certainly reached that level.
This one, like the first Gore-style you made, has an aggressive aspect that seems to come out in the treble notes and the treble overtones associated with lower notes. But it puts an even more marked "edge" to the treble sounds than the larger instrument, as might be expected from the smaller box.
By comparison - and I know I am wandering into the swamp of generalization here - the typical Martin sound is softer, blended, even as it is plenty loud. I realize "soft" is not a word usually associated with Martin acoustics. But this is a comparison and I really have not heard anything this "pushy", this compelling, coming from a Martin. The Gore-style demands that it be listened to; more "cutting" is another way to describe it. I find that, as a listener, I am not free to let my attention wander. I certainly wonder, as do you, what this guitar would sound like in the hands of a world class player.
In any event, it makes a case to seriously consider falcate bracing. Good job.

My client received his guitar yesterday, since that time I had two positive emails:
at 6:30 Am this morning ...
John, the guitar arrived in perfect condition and is exactly what I was hoping for. It is so much more comfortable to play. I will get to some recording today and see how that goes. I suspect it sounds more or less like I EQ the Martin D-35 to sound when I am recording it. It doesn’t have the bass boom that I am always trying to avoid with the Martin. The frets seems perfectly spaced and the action is right in my zone. I can immediately feel things jumping out of the guitar at me. Many thanks for your best efforts here.

John, I just finished recording the acoustic guitar tracks on the song and the Harvest Moon sounds great. It also helped me to get it done. Thanks again.
