Crock Pot Lil' Dipper for hot hide glue

Post by Daniel P » Sun Nov 16, 2014 11:13 pm

I've been saving this Crock Pot Lil' Dipper for more than a few years - not for warming beanie weenies, but knowing that eventually I'd need it for a glue pot.

I'm using hot hide glue for all the top bracing in my KMG Ditson 12 fret, and so far this weekend the glue pot has held right in between 146-148 degrees fahrenheit - just about perfect for hot hide glue.

It unlikely they are all precisely calibrated, but this one is in the right zone.
