I use CA and dust to repair "cowboy" chord damage on both Ebony and Rosewood FB's -- in the case of the Rosewood I found that if your mix in dust of varying colors (even different woods) the repair comes off looking more natural as opposed to a dark spot.

and as I'm finding out more and more, when doing ca and wood dust repairs, lighter is always better than darker
