Thanks Ken I'm sitting hear looking at their catalog. It's going to be a rather short neck so I'll go with the shorter one.

I just measured the distance from the nut to the 14th fret where it will join the body. Measures 12 3/4" strong by about a half a mm. Even my metric falls about that much short of the 14th fret. So im thinking the 12 1/4" rod should do the trick. If I brought it out the front it would cover nearly the entire fretboard. If I brought it out the soundhole it would be somewhat less fb coverage. But probably not enough to matter. Any suggestions as to which is superior? Like I said never done one before.
