Zpoxy again

Post by Harold in Tn » Fri Jul 04, 2014 9:33 pm

Has anybody out there ever used Zpoxy on ebony? If so, what color did you end up with? I have an ebony headstock that's got many pores in it and I need to fill it. Just wondering if Zpoxy would work.

Harold I don't know the answer to your question. But what part of Tn are you? I'm in Manchester.

I'm in Clarksville but I had a brother that lived in Manchester for many years. He worked at Arnold Engineering. I spent a lot of time there.

I use zpoxy on ebony and the resulting color is black.

Do I need to be concerned with the humidity when applying Zpoxy?

I live in the temperate northwest so I have no real idea, but I have not heard of any issues, maybe because zpoxy cures by a chemical reaction not drying.
