Bob - would you discuss/illustrate/give the blow-by-blow of the making of the volute? I really like the look and the functionality, but would like to know more about the process.

Bob, Your volute looks great. I make them quite the same, only a bit lower.
Dave, while I still doing the log on the Jumbo this time, I'll post the progress on the neck shortly. As Bob sais, making this transition is not that difficult. Even men who abuse the English can make it. So pay attention, Dave.
