I'm working on my skills and techniques with the goal in mind of building quality acoustic guitars. With that goal in mind, I'm building a set of four mountain dulcimers - one for my collection and three to sell. Maybe I'll get enough money from them to help finance the purchase a Grizzly 19" bandsaw I have my eye on. :D

I've never built a dulcimer but I'm sure it takes as much effort as a guitar. Those big Grizzly's are monsters, my wife's uncle has one. Awesome saw

Well, it is a guitar building forum. :D I just haven't built my first guitar yet, but wanted other forum members to know that I am not a complete green Newbie to instrument building. Newbie to guitars - yes.
