Superglue

Hi!
Is it possible to dissolve a super glue joint? I super glued my pearl inlay because it broke but I need to redo that.

Acetone will do the trick, even some finger nail polish removers will work if "oil free".

Doesn't lacquer thinner remove CA as well? Since this is a piece of pearl, you can sit it in a bath of lacquer thinner or acetone and let the solvent do the work. Then come back after a cup of coffee and voila! Your work has come unglued!

I´ve put it in a solvent and I´ll leave it there over night. I read that it might take 12 h if the super glue is hardened.....and I glued it together a month ago or so.
thanks for the replies

12 hours you say? That's going to be a big cup of coffee!
