Can't say best places -- but I purchased the guides directly from Carter and the 1/2" Wood Slicer from Highland Woodworking.

+1 on that wood slicer - a great blade. Unfortunately, my Craftsman bandsaw does not accept the Carter guides.

I thought the woodslicer performed very well on the one resaw job I've done so far. I think that "featherboard" on the outbound side of the blade is a very good idea and I will do something like that next time I resaw as it was most difficult to hold the board against the fence back there.

Got a Rockler catalog today and I see that they have the miter slot locking hardware.
