Mistakes happen. I don't think anyone here can say they have not made a mistake during a build. A sign of a true craftsman is not how few mistakes he makes, but how well he can fix or disguise them. I have made several mistakes while building each of my guitars. I had to re-top a ukulele that I built because I accidentally screwed up so badly routing the binding channel on the top. Not an equipment failure, it was total user error. In any event, recovering from a goof seems to be par for the course until you get to around number 50, or maybe higher! I'll let you know when I get to that point since, as of #10, I have still made mistakes. I usually post all of them as well because the recovery is sometimes more interesting than the build.
