I made up something like that, with a riser down the center s that I have room for scrapers and shaves and whatnot, but trying to use a chisel on the cheeks had me doing handstands. As if I could..

The second photo gives a fine temporary solution .

I know this is an older thread, but some may want to take a look at Kathy's setup...using the parrot...
To me, and there are lot's of scary stuff as one goes along for the first time knowing full well that you only get one shot at some things, this neck making makes me awestruck...but in order to keep doing this, I'm going to have to buy Ken's kits or learn...somehow... :>)
