Duco is the better choice since the glue line is invisible. Always use Duco or CA if any plastic is part of the rosette. If the rosette is a little loose Elmer's is a better choice rather than Titebond -- again the glue line is near invisible. The water based PVA adhesives will swell the wood fibers in an instant so its not a good choice for a tight fitting rosette ---- once the glue is applied you may not be able to get the rosette into the channel --- been there done it!
