It appears that's what I was doing...Thanks fellas...maybe it's because I just bought a full cord of wood so I'd have some starter for next fall...? HA! Just kidding.

I did it the hard way and then measured it and I got the same numbers...so at least it was a good learning lesson. but I'll get better, tomorrow is my 71st BD...then I'll be older , wiser and with more experience....:>)

Here's great, super easy and accurate arc calculator tool make sure to use the drop downs for entry values from/to feet and inches. All you need to enter are the radius and the arc width.
