Binding router

I have ordered one of Ken's success kits and it comes with a Ia binding attachment , what router should I purchase, I have looked at the Grizzely and the Bosch colt or should I just go ahead and get Ken's binding system ?
This is my first guitar build but I am sure it won't be my last. Thanks for the help

I have not tried Ken's full binding system - it looks like a solid option - but the KMG IA Binding Router attachment, hooked to a Bosch Colt works great.

I use the Colt for a lot of other projects, so long term I could see the value in getting a HF trim router as a dedicated binding router.

Make sure you check the HF routers for run out. Until a couple of years ago I was a HF trim router fan. It started with the black ones. I had several dozen in the shop from on-line and the local stores all had such bad run out you could observe it by chucking in a 1/4" drill bit and sighting it along a straight line -- just turn it by hand no need to plug it in. This test could be done at the store.

BTW Grizzly's are very close in quality to the top brands -- no RO, super clean machined surfaces, no metal chips in the box, and super quite and vibration free

Thanks for the replies, I have watched the video and I like what I see but I will already have the binder attachment ,I have read a lot of good things about the Bosch colt but if the grizzly is a good one the price might make the difference .
If my wife ever finds out how much I have already spent on this ,you may be reading about me in the newspaper. Lol

Note that the less expensive Grizzly does not have the rack and pinion adjuster -- so that is not the one to purchase.
