I had this guitar mostly built before the end of the year but put it aside over the holidays and then it took me a while to get back at the finishing process.
After spraying the lacquer near the end of January and waiting patiently for it to cure, I've at last done the final sanding and polishing. It's time to string her up!
The veneer on the front of the headstock is snakewood. The back of it is bloodwood.
Curly maple on the body and fretboard binding, and end wedge.
The action is high but I'll wait for it to settle in for a week or two and then make the necessary adjustments.
cheers all,
KMG HD-28

Beautifully constructed and finished. The level of craft is outstanding, really showing where it counts. A level of craft for me to aspire to.

Thanks all, I couldn't do it without your expert examples to inspire me to raise the level of my work, and your advice along the way.
Ken, I definitely need to pick something, just don't know what yet! Possibly a OO, if available.

Jaw dropping Gorgeous. I think the maple binding really adds elegance to this finely crafted guitar. Congratulations on a job well done.
