Rigid Rim construction -- something different

Solid or Laminated sides? Ribbon lining style (kerfing) - rim profiling, contouring and the logic for those choices

Just thinking out loud -- but I'd put up my usual bag of "donut holes" and bet that this rigid rim guitar would have a more distinguished sound if large holes we cut all around the in the inner sides. $.02

I think it is obviously a nice sounding guitar, but I think the mids are a little over-powering for my tastes. Definately a finger style player's git. I totally agree that it sounds like a smaller body guitar.

I dropped Him a note yesterday and He replied right away, seemed like a really nice person...anyway...that IS the only rigid rim model He Builds at this time but he plans to eventually move the rigid rim to all of his models.
