Thanks guys. I put some strings on tonight and it sounds really nice. I will work on the set up this week and get the action close to where it want it. Then I'll play as much as I can till it's time to hand it over to, no not Phil Keaggy Kevin, but Phil from Pa. Haha. It's going to a friend of the family who plays music with my father. After seeing some recent pics he's getting impatient but I'm not going to be so quick to give it up. I'll try to post some good pics when it's all done and cleaned up really well.

Here are the final pics. I tried to take some good pics, but a photographer I'm not, so these will have to do.

I really like the dark side purfling lines. The thin purfling lines framing the pearl really adds a bit of elegance. It a spectacular looking guitar. How does it sound?

Thanks guys. It sounds good to my ear. Just a bit more sustain than I usually get out of my guitars. Not sure what to contribute that to but it sounds nice. Wish I had some decent recording equipment, maybe I'll try to get a recording on my IPad to at least give you an idea of how it sounds.
