Here's a Video I ran across, sneak over to 17:40 and watch their binding operation...any idea what they are using for adhesive? Takes 24 hours to set? How about the wrapping? Interesting for a "Nu-Be"

If they used an acetone type glue it does take about 24 hours for the plastic to return to its initial hardness.
From the video, it looked like the guy doing the wrapping did it so fast - probably due to the fact he does it day in and day out - that he could not tape in the same amount of time. The fact it has PR value is just icing on the cake.

I have twill tape to wrap with but it is amazing to me that they can get the binding to have no gaps with such large spaces between the tape wraps.
I've "Ben-Had" again!

Of the different kind of plastics I used, ABS is the most easy and forgiving binding.
I glue it just with plain acetone. Put acetone in the channel and on the binding. Let it dissolve a bit for, lets say 30 seconds, and tape the binding in the channel. Ready as I write.
Because the ABS dissolves in acetone ( give it an hour and all will be mud) it fills gaps perfectly.
