One more vid

Post by Dave Bagwill » Mon Dec 02, 2013 10:48 pm

A short new vid that my friend Rick made on his webcam, good sound - John Link fixed up the colors which were way off. This is the LB again which Rick says opens up a bit more every day.

I guess I should have tried viewing this after posting it - in my player, I have to right click "play" then I have to zoom to full page view to see the entire picture. Sigh.
Is there a way to fix it so the whole picture appears in the player without going to full screen?
Thanks

Is anyone else having trouble opening this to a full screen?

If you right-click on it, the menu comes down, 'zoom' has a full-page option. Let me know if it works.

Rick, as I mentioned earlier, is recovering from real severe illness and is still getting his strength back - playing slide in oopen tuning is easier as he recovers more. But he is working on re-learning some fingerstyle Blind Blake tunes in regular tuning and when he has those under his fingers we'll get a listen to it that way. I'm posting these just to give a little taste of the ladder-braced sound to those that are not familiar with it.

Dave,

Both the original version you sent for color grading and the graded version I just downloaded here from the forum work the same in both Windows XP and Windows 7 on my end. They open a window in Windows Media Player and occupy a 640x480 space within it. If I resize WMP, they will fill the new window in one dimension or the other.

However, it (as it sits on the forum) simply does not play from the window in the message above, from the forum. I MUST download it. This is true of every file displayed on the forum I have ever tried, in any format. I use Chrome as my browser.

If you want it in a different format, let me know and I can output the color graded version in any format supported by Premiere Pro CS6.

As far as the Ladder Braced sound goes, it is a nice recording that shows how the bass and treble interact via the long sustain provided by your instrument. Rick is an accomplished bluesman.
John
