Well the necks I've made with Sapele were superb, if not a little bit heavier. I'm looking foward to building with the Sapele B & S sets I have, and I think it will make great sounding and looking guitars. Ya know, I built with the Santos Mahogany and the guitar is a winner. I have 3 more sets of that wood. You don't hear of anyone building with it, except for floors, but the guitar is beautiful and sounds very nice. I think if any of you tried it you would like it. Dense and taps closer to rosewood then mahogany.

Kevin I'm definitely going to build a guitar out of it. I had planned on doing everything except the top, fretboard, bridge etc. But I have a nice piece of Honduran Mahogany I could make the neck out of. I agree it would make a beautiful floor. Has some nice wavies in it. I absolutely fell in love with the color.
