an accurate guide for that would be great, i did it pretty conservatively with a sanding block before installing the binding so i could see the width at the edge. I didn't go as thin as you discuss on other threads but it certainly improved the tap tone of the box.

Ken, you've busted me. It's staring at me in it's built but unfinished state waiting for the combination of time, weather and courage to enable me to finish it.
