Reasonably priced Luthier supplies

Hi Guys,as you know I'm new here. But I know a good thing when I've found it. My question for the forum is,are there any places where one can buy small drill bits? The kind that fit in a Dremel. Stewmac is a very good Luthier supply house. But expensive as all get out. I'm retired and live on social security. I have this habit i'm addicted to guitars. Not so much playing them anymore. But re-building,restoring,building new ones. You guys helped me out on the little parlor guitar installing the binding and purfling. That guitar is going to an almost 10 year old little girl whose mother and dad are trying to raise five youngin's. In todays world that is pretty hard. They both have jobs so there not lazy. They just cant afford a quality instrument or lessons. So I'm making the little girl a deal. I'll lend her the guitar and with my teaching if she can learn to sing "Away in the Manger"and accompany herself on the guitar then she can have the guitar as a Christmas present. So any info I can get as where to buy quality tools and supplies will be greatly appreciated....Lonnie

Just keep in mind that there are very few special "luthier's hand or power tools" note the fixures and jigs that KMG produce and sell are things makers need for accurate assembly and constuction of the instument. Many of the gizmos sold by SM are simply unnecessary. The keys is understanding what needs to be done -- the goal of the process, once you have that clear in your mind selecting a tool is easy. Yes there are those with "tool envy" and the "tool snobs" -- but they don't make better guitars than the rest of us.
