That looks really nice, I like that it is all wood. You could get really creative with this technique.

I have been wanting to do a wood purfling using some type of burl wood, or even cocobolo, just haven't had a "free" guitar to do it on, as in free to do what I want to it guitar. But I will!!!!

Dave, the filler strip is sold by the usual suspects. Teflon filler strip. You can also buy a white plastic cutting board and cut strips to your own dimensions, but I am too lazy for that.
