"You were giving me the answer and I was asleep at the wheel......I will do that. is there any reason why the scale can't be 25.5?"
The scale length is normally determined before you start the build so all the parts match up. What is the scale length of your guitar? I thought we were using a Martin 25.4" scale length.

Yeah, we are; I was just thinking out loud. I mean, why not simplify things and round up too 25.5?Tim Benware wrote:"You were giving me the answer and I was asleep at the wheel......I will do that. is there any reason why the scale can't be 25.5?"

Some suppliers sell Martin long scale fingerboards that are actually 25.4" where as the "true/actual" Martin long scale is 25.34" (nominal 25.4") -- so where did you get the fingerboard?
