Grover tuners from Hong Kong

Post by peter havriluk » Sat Aug 17, 2013 1:25 pm

I've been watching Hong Kong vendors peddling 'Grover Rotomatic' tuners, some mentioning that they originate in Korea. Price is right, for sure, between 14 and 16 dollars a set, in addition to a postage charge of about the same . Does anyone have any insight as to whether a purchaser is getting the same Grover tuners he's offered at the local parts vendor? Seems like thirty bucks a set is a modest price for Grovers. But I am inexperienced in such matters. Like are these bought-in-Hong-Kong Grovers the real thing or knockoffs claiming to be Grovers?

Thanks, folks.

Grover does give a lifetime replacement warranty. That makes a difference for me.

Well let me walk over to the bin ---------------- I'm back, made in Taiwan for KMC Kaman Music Co. Ovation and I think Guild now too.
