I did go round removing rough edges and irregularities as best I could but where the cut seemed slightly too deep i didn't want to cut away more material around it making the whole thing too deep, the bit in the picture is probably the biggest slip i made in the routing and i didn't think it looked too bad?!?!

Do we think I should remove the test section I've glued with the router and try to neaten up the channel?

Regarding cutting the fingerboard to size, I am aiming for a nut width of 13/16, the instructions say the width at the 12th fret should be 2 1/8" when using a nut width of 1 11/16. My SJ has a nut width of 1 12/16 but is still 2 1/8" at the 12th fret so do I need to adjust that measurement or not?
cheers.

Bindings are on and looking great! Only a few very small gaps, haven't scraped the top binding yet as hand and arm can't take any more! Any thoughts on the fretboard width? Might take it to work and try to get it cut on the bandsaw.

Thanks Ken. Am yet to cut the FB but i've been doing A LOT of scraping. Very pleased with how my binding's worked out, only two real concerns.

Scratches - mostly from my inexpert scraper sharpening i think, not severe but noticeable if you really look, should i address these later when prepping for finishing?

I can still see slightly where the sealer and also the CA glue (I think i went a bit overboard flooding the joint, too much excess sat on top of the soundboard. Do i need to continue scraping until it's impossible to see where the sealer was?

I have noticed the top is a lot more resonant since i feathered the edges of the lower bout a little thinner and it still seems to be less flexible than the tops on my other guitars.

took the pics with a proper camera so too big to post but here they are
