I hope the two walnut kits I'm getting from Ken have a similar character of walnut - that looks beautiful!

I've been busy all summer and haven't posted in a while. I have number two close to being finished. I got 8 coats of Behlens lacquer on so far. I like the way it sprays and flows out (compressor and spray gun). Got the inlays from DePaul supply. I wanted an aged look so I tinted the lacquer with Transtint dyes(orange and amber mixed together) It came out a little more orange than I wanted but its growing on me. I think it will look really nice when its buffed out. Pictures below:

Not too orange if you ask me. That's where lacquer eventually goes anyway.

Very clean design.
