Method for sound hole bevel?

Post by MarkAndrew1 » Mon Jun 17, 2013 2:34 pm

I was wondering what methods/tools you guys use for creating
a nice bevel edge at the sound hole. I searched the forum but
I didn't see any threads that address this....

Good question -- I've always used a small piece of double layer sandpaper in my fingers, I tend to cup the paper a little.

+1 on folded sandpaper. Only learned advise is the sides of the sound hole sand faster than the top and bottom because of grain orientation so watch what you are doing.

I was thinking about doing that but i wasn't sure if there was
a standard tool or method. It makes perfect sense to me though...
