I'm moving along well into construction of a nice guitar, which is completely hand made from rough wood; rosewood, spruce, flame maple, and ebony. I want to put the Herringbone design around the top. Side Bending; a simple inexpensive bending set-up
I just finished bending the sides of a Rosewood Guitar, and it turned out beautifully. (My first time!!) Your suggestions worked. I did soak the rosewood for about 8 hrs. and I kept it wet with a spray bottle while bending it. I discovered a new heating method that may not have been mentioned before...

I have built one guitar already that had the sides already bent. It turned out to be a prety good guitar, but I didn't like the flat pick sound of a small body '000' guitar. I decided to try to build a guitar on my own and I went to a local guitar shop here in town and hand selected some nice spruce...
