I"m late to this, but I had a guitar come back last year that needed the bridge removed. I used an RC covering iron to heat a StewMac bridge removal spatula. It worked very well.

Solarez makes an UV cure system that cures under a UY flashlight or sunlight

I set my belt sander to the neck angle and bevel the veneer before installation. I use a stock nut to set the distance. The final nut is thicknesses to fit the slot.

Might have to try it.
