Building in neck relief
I've built 5 guitars now and am resuming work on 3 more. My necks have always come out perfectly flat. Upon reading and studying I'm seeing recommendations on building in some up-bow for players that like relief. The up-bow can be taken out with the truss rod, but a truss rod can't add it. I"m late to this, but I had a guitar come back last year that needed the bridge removed. I used an RC covering iron to heat a StewMac bridge removal spatula. It worked very well.

Solarez makes an UV cure system that cures under a UY flashlight or sunlight

I set my belt sander to the neck angle and bevel the veneer before installation. I use a stock nut to set the distance. The final nut is thicknesses to fit the slot.
