looks nice, tony. The different colour ball ends of strings on D'addario's drive me crazy though :D

Mike doolins (aka Jeff Elliot's) is really nice. He has small pins that hold the ball of the string but it keeps with the look of a pinned bridge. Mikes a nice person and seems very willing to share his knowledge. It might be worth emailing him.

But seriously if you ever get a chance to use a high quality plane you'll see that it just works better due to thicker casting and the additional weight due to the casting

I guess, to be more specific Tony, you - mi amigo, mon ami, - have forced me to say the following: a better plane does a better job, and does it more easily. That's it, I'm done, what works for you works for you, I'm just sayin'. I really don't want to upset a French Artiste! :-) You are on my poop...
