What are the risks if I use a piece of wenge that is not quarter sawn for a fingerboard?

Would you guys use this brace blank as it is or cut it to the bottom line to make it perfectly straight grain?

Beautiful instrument and it's always cool when there's a story behind the wood! Some kind of exorcism!

Which scale did you use and did you follow an existing design or a pan?

Yes it's just a guitar indeed. But I have very little experience so if I don't follow a plan, I'll have to make one by copying a guitar (let's say yours ;) ).

Ok yes, now I realize that any template can be used but the locking pin needs to match the template, of course that makes sense!
