I prefer the top straight one. I quit using back stripes. They show my lack of skill! Something always moves and they do not line up!

I would remove it, save it for a parlor or size 5. It will move a tot and braces will telegraph through .

Double binding.

I like to shorten the hight of binding and use as purfling. It gives a thick binding look that I can round over for comfort.
