I'm with Peter. I don't know what the Stew Mac one looks like but mine comes right apart. I use it for braces and gluing on the top and back. I use lengths of 1 x 3/16 pine trim from Lowes or Home Depot as bars. To me they handle easier and have less pressure than fiberglass rods.

I am going with the Gibson style bridge. I was able to re lacquer the top with a dry day last week. Giving it a week for the finish to shrink up before sanding and gluing the bridge on. It actually looks nice. Thanks for the input friends. I will post a final pic as well as the redwood topped one.

Hmmmm. Bridge shape not refined yet. This is for a cousin that was responsible for my guitar addiction 58 years ago but he is paying pretty good money for it. Tempted to let him decide. Or use the new bridge and never say a word.

I was considering a belly up gibson bridge and was just toying with it. It will look strange on a 12 fret 00 but no worse than holes. Thanks ya'll.
