Thanks Ken and John....a lot more than I knew already. Yeah, it's the same with old violins. People have to be careful not to assume too much from the surviving instruments.

Hi John, Actually I do have a question for you or anyone else who has some info. I am very curious which radius to put on a parlor top and back. Is there leeway with that , or do smaller guitars need a different radius from the larger guitars I would love to find a source for the various radii used ...

Ditto what the others said about your top and clean work....very nice. IMHO, starting out in a small space and being forced to learn using hand tools will really pay off. You are having to be organized and to develop skills with hand tools. I have deliberately remained with hand tools whenever I can...
