Hi Ray, I like the idea of using the tru-oil and sanding to make a slurry...I suppose it gives an instant perfect colored filler but do you ever have any problems with it staining purfling or bindings. Thanks Ray, I've found the micro-crystaline polish on amazon so I think I'll invest in some. I didn't use any polish originally simply because I wasn't sure what would work with the TruOil. Do you use the 3M steel wool between every coat? Some say not to bother for the first few..

Thanks Bob, I've just had a play with a picture of the Panormo body and managed to print it on a series of A4 pages and stick them together. This should give me an accurate enough starting point, I might not tackle the Panormo for my next project but it's a long term goal. Also I found this.... http...

Managed to sort it by editing my previous post. Pics are now on, they're not great photos but the back pic shows how well the TO brought out the colour.
