I bought plans from Rick Michletti (Michletti Guitars) for a fret radius jig, and also a binding jig. The name of this little side venture is "Luthier's CoolTools". It is without a doubt the best jig for radiusing fretboards that I have ever seen. I made this with some doubt in mind. The c...

Dave.....Sorry for coming in to the discussion so late! Would it be possible to drill through two of the fret board (FB) slots into the neck prior to installing the frets. It seems that would be more accurate than pressing the FB to the neck and making marks?

Kevin Thanks for the prompt reply! Good information.......I'll ponder this a while and go for it. Do you purchase the fiber sheets and then cut them into strips for pinstriping? All of Kens binding tools look good.....hand-held and otherwise. Which do you think is the best as far as (near) fault fre...
