Re: Lowden "F" style Red Cedar/Mediterranean Cypress with sound
Thanks John.
Kevin, the headplate and scratchplate were bought at Bruce Wei in Tailand. It is vine with birds and butterflies in Rosewood.
My customer likes the bling. Matter of taste.
I did the inlay work on the fingerboard myself, but I cannot the level they have. Ya, the JJB is all you need.

The Lowden F is 40.2 cm wide, but the usual Cypress boards are just a bit too small for that. My regular suppli...

Re: Bending purflings in a heat blanket side bender
yes, me too. Always pre-bend on tight curves. Titebond 3 holds very good while bending. Even herringbone I heat on the iron. I heat it that far, the outer black lining peels easily off with an utility knife. Then you have a very flexibel herringbone and you can glue the two pieces together to the gu...

Excellent!! Congrats on the non-moustache bridge. Kevin-style design looks so much better.

Re: Happy to have sold this one today
Make the price tempting and they will leave. Unless you are attached to them.
