Body is basically done glued together and the overhangs rounded.
Now on to the neck.

Starting to carve the neck.
Most of the waste wood bandsawed away. Just about ready to tackle the scary part......THE SCROLL!

I am always amazed watching scroll carving. I get how to do but still amazed looking at the results

It is an art, especially when carved in hard maple.

I've started carving the scrolls. This is not too difficult but for me it's been hard to visualize the turns and such.
Looking at lots of pictures of scrolls.
Next is to carve reliefs in the turns to give a dimensional effect. Wish me luck!
