CA glue as a clamp

Interesting. I dunno about the clamping force resulting from the dots of CA. Nice way to keep stuff from sliding around, but clamping the air-drying glues is still a question for me. And none of the air-drying glues that were demonstrated would ever be found in my shop, but that's not far from irrelevant.

I am both not all that smart and disinterested in chasing down alleys of innovation pertaining to glue. So I use what I was taught, Titebond Original and Titebond Extend.

Me too! I did use fish glue on one git; liquid hide glue on another, and they worked just fine. but OTB is still my go-to. I do also use a ton of CA, but not for assembly so much.
