Ken's passing

Post by Dave Bagwill » Thu Jan 25, 2018 1:09 pm

Ken Cierp passed away a couple of weeks ago after a year-long battle with cancer.

His widow Laura wants me to tell you that the Forum will continue, and details about that will follow. She and her family have a lot to deal with, in addition to disposing of the business, which had not sold at the time of Ken's death.

You can email Laura at lauracierp@gmail.com to offer condolences etc.

If you want a spreadsheet showing inventory and suggested prices for the assets of the Kit business, let me know and I will get it to you.

That's a shocker, I knew the business was for sale but had no idea he was that sick. Heartbreaking. Feels like an old friend just passed and we never met in person.

The irony of it also - he was just retiring from a life full of work, you can imagine what his hopes and plans were and then BOOM! I feel very sad for him and Laura.

Sad news about Ken. I learned an awful lot from him. I never met him but I felt like he was that friend looking over my shoulder when I started with his kits. My heart goes out to his loved ones.
