Thanks Dave. There were some interesting videos attached to the D-200. One asserted that some titanium derived bridge pins used by Martin on this git increases volume by 3-4 decibels. Anyone heard anything about this? I do know there is a company (TiSonix)that makes titanium pins for about $80 a set. A lot to pay, but would be worth it if they actually worked. TiSonix claims they delay the decay rate of each note's sustain plus extend its duration. Unlike brass pins, which tend to be, well, brassy, TiSonix says their pins yield a warm tone.

I just learned Ervin Somogyi doubts the claim that Martin's bridge pins for the D-200 increase volume by 3-4 decibels.

I might without even taking the time to investigate go with Ervin. A 3 db increase say that the sound board is putting out twice the power. I somehow doubt it.

Looks like a waste of BRW and titanium to me, so I definitely wouldn't waste my money on it.
