Wood is in the shop settling in, plans and book are spread out in the office!

I think the book is well written, easy to follow and seems to be pretty thorough. Will know more shortly I guess.

If I had a criticism, I got the impression that the book was enough to build with, it does include arching templates, but lots of other details missing. I guess for someone with a few other instruments under their belt maybe.

I ordered the plans after reading the book and they answered all the questions I had from the book.

I have a wood kit ordered from Bow River, and a set of plans from Stewmac. I'm committed now!

I think this is going to be my next build. I'm pretty excited about it.
I will try and post detail of the build as I go along. I don't know that I've ever seen anyone building one of these on this or the old Bill Cory forum.

I got the plans Friday. They are awesome. The wood should be here around Wednesday. I'm watching lots of Youtubes on others building an archtop.

I'm curious to see how you will make this work, as an archtop is one of my future plans.
